Here's another collection of interesting searches that have brought people to this blog.
The searches in this collection fall into four broad categories.
There are those who know what they want, and whose dreams of finding what they want on the internet seem pretty plausible:

organic and non organic stuffs you would find in a bag
famous people named claire
John Stuart Mill right wing nuthugo chavez is a jerk
aggravating things about old peopleThings you should never do
disadvantages of being a nurse

ROTFLMAO. Truly. It just fell off.
Posted by: Wes at May 21, 2005 12:57 AMI claim responsibility for this one "why does everybody want to kick my ass" because I mentioned it in a post. I recall it being a post about humorous Country songs. It came up when you were talking about the weird Country video with the midgets.
Posted by: Zaphod at May 24, 2005 10:42 AMGoogle may be the last thing around to convince idjits that there's a good reason to learn proper spelling.
The guy searching for the jeans whatshisname is "where"ing isn't going to get so good of a search result, after all.
(And yes, "idjits" is properly spelled.)
Posted by: Sigivald at May 24, 2005 07:52 PMIt isn't so much the proper spelling that will trip people up as Google does a pretty good job of spell correction. Though, of course, that won't help you when you substitute "where" for "wear."
No, what really amazes me is the amount of people that have no conception of how a search engine works. Like, they think that they can just type in a long rambling question and a computer program will pick out the key words and perform a search. Or maybe they think that there is a human on the other end, ready to interpret their query.
As a computer scientist, I suppose that my perspective is a bit myopic but some of those queries are mind-boggling.
