The WSJ examines YA novels with "heavy themes."

I was still reading The Babysitter's Club and R.L. Stine novels when I was 12.
If/when your book becomes a movie, and they keep in every detail, fully depicted, what will it be rated?
Also: Someone come up with a sex act called the Reading Rainbow, please.

Geez man,is nothing sacred, how bout'those fond of doing start leaving my favored memories alone? I like them the way they are without other connotations, jest or not. Though I would be curious to know what it would be like if Hollywood's habit of turning bookwriters into scriptwriters extened to Franks' book.
