Buy a few porterhouses, get some beer, and invite a doctor over. Trust me, it's well effin worth it. If I were Limbaugh, there would be doctors lining up to be shopped for. So, while not a conservative nor a Limbaugh fan, I applaud Rush's restraint if he has more than me. Which is to say, little, but, huzzah!, in any case.

I'm glad Limbaugh is challenging the claim that the state has the right to leaf through his medical records.
As much as I'd like to see him "sent up" as he's advocated for other drug offenders, his privacy shouldn't be invaded.
The new Patriot Act II provisions that were snuck through congress and were signed into law by Bush while we were all distracted by the capture of Saddam will make it easier to get Limbaugh's financial information. It'd be nice to see someone with the means to fight this challenge the constitutionality of the Patriot Act, it'd be icing on the cake if it were someone who was so supportive of it when he wasn't the target of federal investigation. These provisions mean no more judicial oversight for the FBI- they can just go to your bank and demand your records and your bank isn't allowed to tell you about it.
It'd make putting Limbaugh away easier, but I'm not ready to give up personal freedoms and privacy in order to send a right-wing blowhard to jail.
Were you in Vegas over the holidays? The FBI has your name and financial information. Why? They won't say.

But love him, hate him, don't give a crap; Rush is one of the most powerful people in America. Which, I think, would make him one of the most powerful in the world. Listen to his show as often as you can for as long as you can stand (try over a month)...then watch the fall out throughout politics and the media that come as a reaction to him. It's kind of scary.

It's clear you don't recall how angry Rush was (on April 4, 2003) that Jessica Lynch's medical records were kept private- he wanted to see if she'd been raped- he had this creepy theory about her being hung by her ankles and tortured while in the Iraqi hospital.
