Frank,
Are you still making a homebaked CD chock full of songs about girls?

Posted by: Bill at April 27, 2004 07:37 PM

haven't heard language like that since the pepperidge farm guy died.

Wow, Phranc...I was just going through some of my old 80's Interview mags the other day, and there was a write up on her in one of them. I'd like to get my hands on one of those cardboard Chucks as well...

Hey Frank: according to Allmusic.com (the All Music Guide), you were the assistant engineer on Andrea Bocelli's album "Cieli di Toscana." What's up with that?

Posted by: Hulka at April 28, 2004 03:43 PM

That's gotta be some kinda joke, right? 47 Italian guys and Dr. Frank? That's kinda funny to see listed there.

Posted by: utility knife at April 28, 2004 07:44 PM

Argh! You were in Providence last night and I missed it?! [kicks own ass]

Posted by: tas at May 1, 2004 11:13 AM

grumpy. because i was just at the velvet lounge in d.c. last weekend (i'm from chicago) and saw that dr. frank was playing in that *exact* bar a mere four days later. alas, commitments such as school, work, pets, and boyfriend caused me to return to chicago. what the hell is up with everyone skipping chicago all the time. i mean i realize that this was an east coast tour, but why can't you people ever have like a "midwest tour". for the 3rd largest (and first prettiest and most wonderful, in my opinion) city in the country, chicago sure gets the shaft. bah.

Hey Frank, the show in the Living Room was great! I had a good time!!!

Posted by: Stefan Stardumb at May 4, 2004 03:05 PM

Any Chicagoan who bitches and moans about no good shows coming to town should try living in St. Louis (or Indianapolis, or Milwaukee, or Kansas City, or...)

Posted by: Jason Toon at May 5, 2004 08:55 PM

jason,
i think she just meant that bands she likes are recently skipping Chi-town, not that no good bands ever come through because they do. actually she is from southern indiana. so she can empathize. how do i know all this? i'm jonathan edward.

Posted by: utility knife at May 7, 2004 09:34 PM

I agree though, "Midwest Tour" should be added to the whole touring lexicon as it were. It's not just for farmers anymore.

Posted by: utility knife at May 7, 2004 09:37 PM

Frank,
This is rather irrelevant to your actual post, but I was curious if you ever received the questions and/or the package I sent you. I haven’t heard from you in an eternity and it is pertinent that I know either way what is going on. I hope all is well.

-Thanks.
Nicole
