Sorry Everybody!

Merry Christmas, folks. See you next year - if there is a next year! And can I crash on your couch, assuming we're still allowed to have couches?

We have GOT to resist the Bushcroft Mafia's anti-couch crusade.

Merry Christmas, Dr. Frank. Dont' forget to appologize to on behalf of our country while your "across the pond". And make sure you try to sneak some figgy pudding through customs on your way back.

My door is always open, too, whenever you're up in P-town. And, hey, now that I'm a grown-up and everything I actually have a spare bedroom. No more couches for my guests!

And a very Merry Christmas to you too, Frank. It does this old alien's heart good to hear Merry Christmas instead of the PC Happy Holidays.

A-ha, this is a photo from H.S.T's long lost book "Fear and Loathing on Gilman Street"

A couch? A Couch? No sir, you will have the finest Queen-sized bed in a tiny room filled with junk that the Greensboro, NC area has to offer.

If you ever played here. Which you won't. Cause all our clubs suck and attendence is poor.

Hoo-rah!

I'm midway between Chicago and St. Louis in Bloomington and the door is open, the showers are hot, the beer is cold and the Indian food is SPICY! Drop me a line if you need a place to crash in 2005.

Posted by: Puckett at December 21, 2004 04:18 PM

I would offer you my couch, but the FCC censored it. I suppose i shouldn't have tried to broadcast it over public airwaves....

Posted by: Mike C. at December 21, 2004 05:09 PM

....and you've got a place to stay in the Washington Metro area.

Posted by: josh at December 21, 2004 05:21 PM

I was gonna offer some room at the inn down D.C. way, but josh beat me to it. Have a safe trip across the pond, doc, and merriest Christmas to you and yours.

Oh my god, that's where that old couch that I inherited from my ex's parents ended up. Yeah, a lot of alcohol consumed on that couch. Oh yeah, sex too. Better have it cleaned good in case Goodwill didn't do so.

And Merry Christmas!

Greetings from across the pond! I hope you have a good christmas over here. My couch is always free if your ever stuck in the North-east. It'd be my pleasure.

Are you playing any shows over here? I've found a few europe dates, but none for the UK. I'd kick myself so hard if I missed one.

Merry Christmas
Kelvin :)

Frank,

I was looking up "Eyeliner" on the internet, and this webpage popped up. This is totally nuts- how the internet connects people through such offhand intentions. Its great to read your thoughts. I hope youre having a really wonderful life. write me sometime!

look at my new art if you have the time. I find it necessary for people like you to see it. People who have seen what I was doing eight years ago.

Frank - At first I thought that was a picture of the couch at the Phoenix, but then I realized it was in far superior condition to any couch to be found there!

I would certainly offer you my couch if I owned one.

Looking forward to seeing you play when you come back! My little sis has been dying to see you for a while now...Looks like we'll be getting our fix by seeing Bobby J with the Knockoffs next month, though. All of your bandmates are awesome!:)

Merry Xmas and Happy Kwanzaa!

Hello Dr Frank

have a pleasant Christmas and a very good new year.

We don't have a couch to spare, but if you're willing to cross the sea when in England, we can give you a stage to sleep on...

You always have a couch to crash on in Austin, TX though you'll have to be careful because I've already had to turn all my cushions around once b/c of drunkin vomiting and incontinent friends. I can provide a sheet.
Happy New Year everyone...does anyone know of anything fun going on in Austin?

Posted by: anythingcoloredpink at December 29, 2004 06:02 PM

Oh shit! Is that a picture of you on the couch at The Ashtray circa 1988? Man you look bad. Better go to Boots while in England and get some vitumin C. Have a nice xmass and a safe New Year.

Tell you what, if Jello Biafra and Jack Nicholson ever had a love child, its sittin on that there couch in that photo..

Posted by: holy modal rounder at December 30, 2004 09:32 AM

We're still allowed to have Christmas?

Happy New Year, Dr. Frank, and best of luck in it.

Unfortunately, "poker, " above, is speaking a dialect of English that they only speak in Las Vegas. I think what "poker" is trying to say, if I may try my hand at translating, is "Frank, hope you had a great Christmas, and may 2005 bring you more success. " Oh, he adds something like "maybe there's a doctor in England who can help you remove that stick from the side of your head."

Cheers!
