The Unpredictable Mr. Drudge

Here's a summary of the embarrassing/amusing public snark-a-thon between Susan Estrich and Michael Kinsley over the ratio of female to male writers on the LA Times opinion pages. There's nothing new for those who have followed it all, except, perhaps, for this bit:

[Estrich] contended she didn't think e-mails to Drudge and others in the media would get into the public domain.

Yeah?

i'm afraid the only interesting thing i feel i must say is that i'm well pleased by the use of the word snark. all further uses of snark or even better snarky will be met with applause.

Certifiable? Or Menopausal? Besides, in a free country everyone's entitled to a soap box. The bigger question, perhaps, is why her voice is amplified? Sometimes, I think this is due to the fact that the MSM is more of a piņata, and a marketing tool; than it is a delivery system for facts as news.

Besides, Susan Estrich would not be all that weird to a psyhiatrist. Her pain, if it could be found, would be limited to a loss of stature in politics. She's no Barbara Boxer, ya know. Sure. Idiots get elected. But Estrich wasn't able to make that happen when she tried. And, that's her problem.

Carol, since you use the word "certifiable," I know you came here from my blog, Daily Pundit, and the link there to this post.

I meant Estrich is nuts if she actually believes her emails to Drudge wouldn't get into the public domain.
