I Know Who Your Friend is, and I'd Love to Go to the Dance with Him. But not Unless He Asks Me Himself!

Perky over-the-top PBS-style audio-acting and crazy Canadian accents are featured in this awesome edit of highlights from the cassette that came with the late 80s boardgame Girl Talk: Date Line.

Actually, for this game, it is a wisconsin/milwaukee accent... heard it from the horses' mouth.

Sure? i can't really listen to this thing, but i'm quite partial to canadian accents. from that i
know a very thick canandian accent can be confused with that area...its a very subtle difference but its there.

seriously i've become a freak this way(in the past year i suppose),i prefer the lighter accents were you can just barely tell, then 90% of the time it doubles their cuteness.

Huh? What? Canadian accent?
I'm from Canada and I've never noticed such a thing.
But you Americans just talk wacky, eh?

And I'd love to know who's been recording all my conversations.

well,i'm sure in reality its not as widespread as i and others might adore to think. but from the few i've met and just heard voices on the phone(the rare canadian order trickles in)its kind of like that. subtle sometimes and almost minnesota at other times.

yet it is sadly true i have heard one or two canadian that don't seem to have one at all.
