Posted by: joe at July 4, 2005 08:51 AMI just have to mention that the 1964 Epiphone Coronet that's pictured as an answar to your most treasured possession is mine, and it's been for about a year.

Posted by: Are Lund at July 4, 2005 02:37 PMi'm questioning myself now, wondering if i can really continue to enjoy the works of a man who lists melville as his favourite author. such is the nature of my deep, everlasting, and somewhat irrational hatred of melville.
Posted by: kate at July 4, 2005 04:01 PMActually, Kate, my favorite author is probably P. G. Wodehouse.
Posted by: Dr. Frank at July 4, 2005 04:09 PMyou cannot imagine the relief i feel right now.
Posted by: kate at July 4, 2005 09:59 PMOh, come on now, "Bartleby, The Scrivner" is one the greatest short stories of the 1850's. Beautiful metaphor and possessing a fair bit of humour to boot, it was really ahead of its' time as far as style and presentation go.
