What it Might Look Like if I Ever Started My Own Religion

Even when you know that the "MTX" in the MTX Youth High School Ministry stands for "Mountain Top Experience" rather than the (to us) more familiar term, it's still pretty fun to browse the youth ministry site of the Lake Gregory Community Church.

(I particularly like the "MTX Verse of the Day." And The Ten Commandments Written by MTX Kids isn't bad either.)

I'm praying for you, Dr. Frank.

Bless you, my child. May I interest you in an indulgence today? We're having a special two for one sale, and it would really look great on you...

Have not I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

Damn straight.

Those 10 commandments are pretty keen. They work well for me since I follow most of them anyways. I only cheat, lie and steal on Thursdays. I wonder if God has a problem with me selling bongs (uh, I mean water pipes) on Sundays? I guess that could fall under "enjoying God's gifts" for my customers...maybe hippies are exempt from these?

If I were on some foggy mountain top...

Clearly, they are the future people of tomorrow.

Kind of reminds me of P.A.T. (Positive Acting Teens) from the old Beavis and Butthead show.
