That how you spell warship?

I am migrating all my stuff to a new computer, and I've come across some items in my email that I don't remember seeing. Among them are some King Dork reader photos I may post soon and this piece of album art for one of Tom's and Sam's bands, which came from somebody from here. Belated thanks.

ooooohhhhh, What'd you get? A nice shiny new MacBook Pro with the Core2Duo? You know OSX Leopard is due out in two months? It'll probably set us back another $150 or so....

I just got a plain old macbook, Zaph. I would have gone for the pro if they made a 12" edition, but the 15" is way too big for me.

Cool, I myself have a mini. Same guts as the Macbook. Good stuff!!

hey speaking of new computers...

i got one too...sort of...its still old.

i guess its a macbook but not an i book, its from when they still called them Macintoshes.
the guy i work for is good at garage saleing,
an he just gave me this ...i think Macintosh 1800, that he just wanted to get rid of.
it has a removable floppy drive that comes out like the battery, but no cd drive.

i'm happy with it,lots of software already on it.

computer dorks have any warnings or hints?

It's probably a pre-G3 MacBook, Beth. For all intents and purposes it won't run any new software or be very useful at this point as it probably has a modem but no lan-port. You may be able to get on the net via dial-up if you were to install a PPC version of Linux on it. That'd probably be the best way to go with it, istall Linux, preferrably Ubuntu or SUSE.
