No way. That was planted. But if not, who better to find it ?

looks like somebody has a secret admirer

I really want to know where and how you found this.

Viral Marketing for "Our Bodies Our Selves" but that's okay because it's the best rock album of the 90's.

Now let's be fair, Frank didn't say WHERE he found it. It could very well have been his mailbox. LOL!!!

Frank, that is really, really cool. It's like a hieroglyphic cartouche title for the song. When you wrote/recorded it, did you imagine that the toast was so non-plussed?

Posted by: Nick at March 8, 2007 11:30 PM

Aw. Left for you to find?

Posted by: josh at March 9, 2007 01:26 PM

Is that not the symbol for 'more than or equal to'? I guess that wouldn't be such a catchy lyric.

Richard, I think it's clearly indicating the right arithmetic bit shift operation...

I think that might be the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. I want that toast tattooed on me.

Posted by: Sasha at March 12, 2007 06:19 AM

okay i confess...

i did that, don't quite remember why and i'm quite flattered to see it here. geez that was like last year or something,i think i thought it might make a cute valentine for someone i liked at the time.

then i decided only frank would appreciate it so i gave it to him at a show at some time.
i had totally forgotten about it.

again flattered and glad you all like.

by the by of course the toast is nonplussed.

(i love that word for it.)

its apathetic punk rock toast!...that's what i was thinking of then.

found where anyways, did you forget you had it and clean out a drawer or something?

Posted by: just me at March 12, 2007 09:20 PM

Is that a saying out in California, anyway? Or is it just a clever way of saying, "Yeah, I like you, but I feel sorta whatevs about it."

I mean, no one really cares about toast. According to it's the most unrequested-when-left-in-the-kitchen part of your traditional breakfast special at diners across the America.

Posted by: chris riordan at March 14, 2007 02:03 PM

well... i think i remember hearing something about Frank actually being quite fond of toast but i could be wrong.

it could be sort of what you're thinking...

If you're like someone and they REALLLY like you,you feel indebted to say something complimentary even if your not feeling committal about it. This one guy I've gone on a couple dates with,i get that vibe but i don't know for myself. i think he's just alright. but if need were to be i could definately say i loved him more than toast.

Toast is just okay,he's better.
