I'm in the middle of reading "King Dork" for the second time. It's still incredibly irreverent and enjoyable.

This time through I'm picking out little nuances that I had not noticed before. Paritcularly a passage in which Tom is fantasizing about and trying to rationalize why "Fiona" would want to "give him the time". It dawned on me that the words and descriptions from that passage immediately brought to mind the song "Thank You(for not being one of them)".

Brilliant.

i have an "advance galley" for king dork that include typographical errors, zaphod. i will trade this piece of pop culture history for every MTX song you have on your computer in MP3 format.

FAIR TRADE IS FAIR TRADE! NOTIFY NAPSTER! SMASH THE STATE!

I purchased all of my MTX and Dr. Frank albums, then only ripped them in order to carry along handily with me via my iPod. Support the artists I say!! Heck, most of them (8 Little Songs Demo included) I purchased directly from Frank himself. How's that for bypassing the middleman?

i got 8 little songs too, mister. dont try to outmtx me! but i am a sloppy beer drinker and have ruined most of my cds. i told frank about it and he said "go to itunes" but i have a sansung lil monsta and not an ipod cuz im punk rock like that...

all i know is i paid for all the mtx material already, some albums three or four times (i replace ones i sit on and if i ever see a record i buy it) but i dont have any mp3 files to put in my WALKABOUT.

help me the hell out, dr frank would approve. ask him. come on man, zaphod weve been through a lot over the years on here.

I feel your pain Chris. I got a scratch on one of my Green Day CDs and had to buy Christie Road off of iTunes. I also got a scratch on one of my MTX CDs and had to buy Love American Style off of iTunes as well.

The GOOD news is that there is an option in iTunes that will allow you to convert an AAC to MP3 so that you can play it on your Sammy player. I CAN help you with that if you need it.
