A lot of people out there seem to think this guy would make a good Sam Hellerman.
Posted by Dr. Frank at August 20, 2007 10:11 PMBut he's almost too dorky for even the King of them!
Posted by: Tim at August 20, 2007 10:18 PMi could see that working. he'd be too dorky to be tom, but perfect for sam.
Posted by: aaron at August 21, 2007 03:00 AMoh hell yes.
you should have your people send his people a book and a teeshirt.
Posted by: k. at August 21, 2007 05:14 AMHe would, actually. Is there a part for Micheal Cera?
Posted by: josh at August 21, 2007 02:06 PMJimmy Kimmel is way too old to play ChiMo. Maybe he could play Little Big Tom
Posted by: stupidass at August 21, 2007 05:42 PMOh, man. Yes. What's more, I could see Michael Cera as Shinefield.
Posted by: Sasha at August 21, 2007 08:45 PMThat guy is so rad. I could see him as Sam.
Posted by: Megan at August 22, 2007 06:31 AMHe's way hotter and way older than I imagined Sam.
Posted by: Amy 80 at August 22, 2007 10:15 AMSpeaking of King Dork, I was watching Rock and Roll High School - for the first time in like over a decade and a half - a couple of weeks ago and heard a Vince Lombardi High staff member in that classic flick refer to the Ramones as "Ray-moanies." And it's like, oh, okay, at least Frank steals material from the best.
Posted by: David at August 22, 2007 06:21 PMIs there a role for me? I would like to one of the bullies, actually. And yes, I have acted before. Obviously you never googled me.
Posted by: chris riordan at August 22, 2007 09:05 PMI like your hair, chris.
Posted by: josh at August 23, 2007 05:29 PMMy vote for casting:
Tom Henderson:Michael Cera
Sam Hellerman:Christopher Mintz Plasse
Little Big Tom: Tommy Chong
Tom's mom: Jennifer Coolidge
Mr. Teone: Danny DeVito
George Carlin would also make a great Little Big Tom. See Jersey Girl for the best example of him playing a patriarchal role.
