Hellermania

A lot of people out there seem to think this guy would make a good Sam Hellerman.

But he's almost too dorky for even the King of them!

i could see that working. he'd be too dorky to be tom, but perfect for sam.

oh hell yes.

you should have your people send his people a book and a teeshirt.

He would, actually. Is there a part for Micheal Cera?

Jimmy Kimmel is way too old to play ChiMo. Maybe he could play Little Big Tom

Oh, man. Yes. What's more, I could see Michael Cera as Shinefield.

That guy is so rad. I could see him as Sam.

He's way hotter and way older than I imagined Sam.

Speaking of King Dork, I was watching Rock and Roll High School - for the first time in like over a decade and a half - a couple of weeks ago and heard a Vince Lombardi High staff member in that classic flick refer to the Ramones as "Ray-moanies." And it's like, oh, okay, at least Frank steals material from the best.

Is there a role for me? I would like to one of the bullies, actually. And yes, I have acted before. Obviously you never googled me.

I like your hair, chris.

My vote for casting:

Tom Henderson:Michael Cera
Sam Hellerman:Christopher Mintz Plasse
Little Big Tom: Tommy Chong
Tom's mom: Jennifer Coolidge
Mr. Teone: Danny DeVito

George Carlin would also make a great Little Big Tom. See Jersey Girl for the best example of him playing a patriarchal role.
