The King Dork paperback officially comes out on Feb. 12. and vaguely related to it is this stuff:
Saturday, February 9:
I'm going to be attending this Berkeley Public Library dinner thing.
Monday, Feb. 25:
I'll be at Moe's Books in Berkeley doing the usual song and dance. (2426 Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley. 7:30 PM. Free.)
Thursday, Feb 28:
I'll be rebelling and reading at the Noise Pop event listed here. Beth Lisick and a few other writerly types will be there as well. 12 Galaxies, 2565 Mission St. San Francisco. 7 pm. $5.
Friday March 7:
Reading etc. at Books, Inc., Palo Alto. Town & Country Village, 855 El Camino Real. 7 PM. Free. 650.321.0600.
Um, I don't see any dates listed for Chicago. What gives? You don't like our snow? Our slush isn't good enough for you? You think we're a bunch of illiterate hot dog-eating knuckleheads? We need to get you hooked up with the RUI program over at a terrible--not in a good way--bar called Sheffield's. (RUI = "Reading Under the Influence.")
Posted by: kim at February 6, 2008 09:37 PMi gotta say, i have never EVER in my days seen a MTX concert slated for Detroit. or michigan. or the midwest in general. or even in Ontario. think of the teeming masses of fans, longing for a live performance. i guess i missed the tour for yesterday rules.
