"Hey Mister, how much for that drummer in the window?"

Now THIS takes me back, baby.

I still remember pretty much all the words.

"... the writ has hit the fan."

No one is that clever these days, are they?

I had never heard this. Just the Methadones version, which I like better, actually.

It's too bad that little-known bands like The Records are pretty much trapped in vinyl, when they had such good stuff. I'd like to have a clean, clear copy of "King of Kings" someday.

Oh, BTW, Too Much Joy did a cover of this as well.

I haven't been able to get this song out of my head!

Boy, your blog sure lacks text and commentary these days. I miss that blog, and what the guy thinks of stuff today.

Not that I oppose introversion. Just that, y'know, you used to have interesting things to say about other than yourself.

At least the first two albums by the Records are available in beautifully remastered sound with bonus tracks. On the first CD, you get both the American and English mixes of Starry Eyes. I saw them in Tampa; I don't remember whether it was the first or second tour, but it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I’ve really enjoyed reading your articles. You obviously know what you are talking about! Your site is so easy to navigate too, I’ve bookmarked it in my favourites
