Dr. Frank's What's-it

I witnessed a fist fight on the subway yesterday while holding my sleeping 12 month old. Can't say I favor this campaign.

This seems to come from the "people will always do such and such so we might as well make it safer." Why is it not obvious at this point that the level of such and such is by no means a constant?

Real men use firearms to stop unprovoked attacks, robbery, and other felonies.

(Then again, of course, "real men" don't fight in the streets over drug turf, or because they're drunk and stupid, or...)
