Love is a Drum

Anyone know what happened to this kid? Great single. Posted by Dr. Frank at July 12, 2011 10:14 PM | TrackBack

Jack Skuller is still out there. Google him and you'll find he's got a sturdy online presence through facebook, myspace, twitter, and his own public website.

You're right, he's out there. I just expected there would be an album after that single that would take the world by storm, etc. There hasn't been as far as I can see.

I hadn't heard of him prior to your post, but that song really hooked me. I was amazed to learn that he's only 15. I look forward to hearing more of his music in the future.

Thanks for the update, manager! Glad to know he's still at it.

I also got an update from my old buddy Jim Testa. (Jersey Beat is where I first heard of Jack Skuller.) Apparently, they're all Weekhawken neighbors. Small world.

And yeah, Ben, I agree, the song is a winner and it hooked me just like it hooked you. I have yet to hear anyone disagree.

I've sent the two youtube links to a number of friends and they all love it, as well. One said that "Love is a Drum" reminds him of Take a trip with the Bomb Bassets, unaware that I learned about Jack through your blog.
