How long is a 2.5 second story?

It's around twelve pages, Josh, if I remember correctly.

I can't read nearly that fast, but I suppose I'll check it out anyway.

Jerry Spinelli and Dr Frank in one book?

Welp. Guess I'll be hitting up the book store again after work tonight. :)

I'm very heartened to see a reference in your post title to "Right Field."

My middle boy (baseball-obsessed) and I were in absolute hysterics at the beginning of the story, over "Right Short Center" and a million other things....and then kept getting further and further into the story, and got quieter and more intense. This was Kevin Choi, on my son's team--but Kev turned into a David Ortiz power-hitter by the end of the season, everybody's warm and fuzzy ending. Your ending was a million times better.

Great story, great world you created (Chinese is my field, so I know the background--who told you he had to be named "Pang," by the way?), and thank you.
