Dr. Frank's What's-it: Comment on Of all the covers of this song I've heard, this one is notable for getting the chords right

I remember the first time I saw MTX live in 1995 or so (at the Grand Central Cafe in Tallahassee, which is no longer with us). This was either right before or right after "Love Is Dead" came out. I ran into Dr. Frank before the show and asked if he'd be playing 'Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend'. He looked at me with a confused/frustrated look on his face and said "You know, I'm not sure I can even remember what key I recorded that in. But if I get drunk enough maybe I'll try it." Apparently he didn't have enough Heinekins that night, but the next time I saw them around a year later it was on their set list and it sounded great.
