Yeah 999 got a fairly large push in North America but it never seemed to amount to much for them.
I'd still maintain that up until "Concrete" they remained a pretty sold band.

We went to the Westgate Mall in Brockton, Massachusetts, and we went to Musicland, and we looked in the tiny little import bin, and we found this album. Johnny bought it. We sort of communally bought our punk rock records based on who had money at the time. It was winter. I have to think January or February of 1981. We took it to one of our houses and listened to it and agreed it was good. Walking around singing the word "homicide" occurred in more than one instance in our circle as well.
