Frank, I believe we can say that Liddy is as far away (or farther) from the mainstream as the person in the picture you posted carrying a sign that said "Fuck Middle America". That kid was unknown but Liddy has a radio show and is a frequent guest on Fox News. I believe he is often on Hannity and Colmes and Hannity always shows himself to be an ally of Liddy. Cheney and Rumsfeld have both chosen to do interviews with Hannity, a man proud of his association with Liddy. You posted that picture saying it was a "winning strategy" in jest, but now I begin to wonder.
