Oh, that damn nervous nature... It's defeated a good number of us I'm sure.

Are you guys making fun? I think that note is very sweet. I hope the writer and Shatia got together after all.

Condi, I need to leave now to take a shit.
I wait any longer I'll have shatia.
People will point and laugh.
Okay, more than usual even.

I think "Shatia" was the name of the tomatoey sauce on the fries sold at the Krishna food stand there at Center and Shattuck back in the day. I totally yearn for those fries, too.

Can I just mention here that the first couple of times that I saw this post I thought you were using "by Jupiter" as as interjection? As in, "By Jupiter, centurion, close the gates before Asterix and Obelix get in!" I was trying to figure out why you were using this odd expression. "I think that my heart is saying yes go for it" doesn't SOUND like Catullus, I said to myself, but maybe I'm wrong...

Then I realized that you were simply specifying the exact location of your discovery. In front of the bar. The one called "Jupiter".

I need to start getting more sleep.

Frank, have you seen Napoleon Dynamite? If not, you're in the minority and really ought to watch it. Sometimes, things that are super popular in pop culture deserve it. But anyway, I think if you haven't seen it you should and would enjoy it because the humor seems to be in the neighborhood of your own. At one point, one of the characters is facing some kind of emotional dilemna and Napoleon says, "Just try listening to your heart... that's what I do."
And the artwork you did for the inside of King Dork is funny in the same way Napoleon's doodles of a "Liger" are.

Please put your Suicide Girls on hold for a second and respond to my query. THanks.

it's like doing the dishes- you really want the satisfaction of having a clean counter but then again, who wants to bend over so many times without having sex? it just seems pointless... I heard somewhere once that confusion comes before clarity. i guess it'd have to. duh. I lived right around the corner from that station for years. I love berkeley square....sob, and miss it.

frank, can you please stop posting the personal thoughts of others on your website so that snippy teenagers and arrogant college kids may mock them? there's a real world out here where things are tough. thanks
