Welcome to the Love Capades

I hear ya, sister:

Mary-Kate Olsen says her heart is broken.

The 19-year-old sweet teen and multimillionaire mogul says she has taken a leave of absence from New York University to recover from losing her boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos, to her former friend Paris Hilton.

Speaking to fashion mag W, Mary-Kate says she's not talking to either Hilton or Niarchos.

"I've pretty much been with someone my whole life, so this is a hard time for me," she says.

She needs a breather.

"I need to ... read scripts and go on auditions, because that's what makes me happy. You know?

"Like, papers don't really make me happy."

Stavros Niarchos?

Sounds like trouble.

"Like, thinking is HARD. So is being my own person."

Man, the breadth of this web log.

Leave her alone. MK Olson needs to focus on her auditions. Rumor has it she's reading for the role of Ashley Olson's identical twin sister in next year's "Summer Holiday in Cambodia."

ASHLEY OLSEN... UBER ALLES... ASHLEY OLSEN UBER ALLES!

sorry.

This kind of pain is real. I feel for this poor girl. When I was sixteen I became so distraught after getting dumped by a girl that I immediately dropped out of school and auditioned at several fast food joints. Those auditions never really went anywhere. Better luck to Mary-Kate.

ever notice how dr. frank and jello biafa look kinda similar?

Posted by: Nick G. at December 14, 2005 01:11 AM

I wish I could quit school whenever I get dumped.

Dr. Frank and Jello? That's mean. I always used to think, back in high school, that Frank looked like Vince Vaughn. This was, of course, when the only Vaughn movie was Swingers, before he had relenquished himself to an endless career of cameos in horseshit Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson/Will Ferrel "comedies". In the movie of punk rock, Vaughn would play Frank. Ben Weasel would be played by Kathy Bates.

someone else has notice the trend! Also Vince Vaughn in the remake of Psycho(granted a unneeded thing but i liked it anyways)I like him as a more dramatic actor. What happened!

Why is he always in the worst crap now!

theres this whole thing about how frank and jello look alike, so much so that in lookout! records, for a long time, there was this poster that had pictures of both of them on it, it was supposed to be a mock election thing, "who would you vote for?" frank had a quote saying "vote for me! im a doctor!"

Posted by: Nick G. at December 14, 2005 10:12 PM

I always thought Jello kinda looked/sounded like the guy from the B 52's.

Hey now, recent Vince Vaughn movies are good. Wedding Crashers is funny as hell, as is Dodgeball.

well courtney apparently our definitions of "good" are far from in line with each other.
