Wow... That's creepy on a number of levels, isn't it?

hmmm...and you made fun of LDS fashion,a thing which only a small portion actually would even desire to wear.

though i have tried the "hot&modest" skirt/pant combo. something you pointed out quite sometime ago if you don't remember it. it can work nicely i swear i've seen it,but not for me. i feel like i should wear one or the other.

there are better ways.

more to the point, can't deny i think that's pretty entertaining.

This made me giggle.

Thank you, Dr. Frank, you have managed to unearth yet another one of my repressed memories from my year in Southern Baptist kindergarten.

In addition to learning that I was going to hell, I can now remember singing this horrible children's hymn about dressing for battle against the leagues of Satan. We would pantomine putting on our helmets, lifting our shields and swinging swords. At least the lyrics have been lost to a few years of heavy drinking at Cal.

Anyone else see that website that sells modest swimwear? Check it out if you wanna see something really goofy.

disclosure: I have always been a Buddhist.

how about some swimsuits for the girl who would be interested in this armor?

And they are just as real.

I told my boyfriend I'm ordering myself some of these for the next time I sleep over. I'll bet I could make it into the Boys' Size Large, and that Centurion helmet is really tops.

(I especially love the helmet choice in light of how fond Roman soldiers seemed to be of the Christians back in the day.)

That brings me back to Vacation Bible School in the summers of my youth. Ahhh, memories.

Seriously though, track down some that would fit me and I'm all up in those PJs. It would definitely raise my creeo factor another notch or two.

I laughed a lot at these pyjamas. I never realised there was such a market for this kind of thing.

I did a quick Google after looking at the swimwear site, and found another purveyor of modest apparel. Hilarious (and they don't seem to have quite got the hang of memorable URLs...)

Some amusing comments about the pyjamas appear on John Rogers' blog.
