do you have to be a "somebody" to get on here reading king dork? i was thinking about posing for a pic on the can while i pretended to be reading it (i mean i read it for real, but a long time ago). but im thinking maybe i would be baring my bright white thighs for naught? i havent recognized any of the other people i see on here, but i didnt recognize this guy as Colin ____ of the ______ either, so who knows! anyway, give me the greenlight on this project and ill get on it stat right before my powerlunch with a couple of heavy hitters from that other firm, which im spearheading fyi asap rotfllmfao asl dot ditty dot dot duh ding ding com.

As an aspiring somebody myself, I say, "Keep reaching for stars, Tim!" However, Frank did actually get back to me and told me the "shit and read" concept was played out. Then I realized I didn't pack my copy of King Dork with me when I moved to a smaller place, and it is in storage along with the majority of my library at Mom's house. Don't take it personally, Frank - you have some good company in my mother's basement. Joyce, Faulkner, Bukowski, Blume, Cleary - all the literary greats are tucked away in that trunk with you. I just brought all of the books I haven't read yet and my Vonneguts.

I thought of getting a picture of myself reading it while skydiving, but then I remembered I am afraid of heights.

This picture made me smile larger than I have all day. :-D
