This performance reminds me a lot of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Seemingly disparate characters lead by a person highly aware of his/her own theatricality. Brian Ferry and What's Her Name even kind of look alike. Hmmm...

It might be a bit confusing if you got into them around Flesh + Blood or Avalon (or even Siren, maybe), but the early stuff is definitely worth looking in to if you like them but were unaware of their more zany earlier stuff (Virginia Plain, Dream Home Heartache come to mind).
