Sexy outfits, low-cut blouses, and tight pants

Too sexy for Harvard, yet arguably not sexy enough for the TGI Friday's cocktail lounge.

(The title of this post comes from the original article, here.)

She doesn't look all that hot to me. I could have sworn I read in another article that she was black and not asian...... Anyway, if she wants to dress to impress the men, then she's doing the underutilized Public Library system a service by getting men in there to read (or pretend to read) something other than Penthouse, Hustler et al.

Forget public library, I meant school library. It's a good idea for public-libraries as well too though. Yes, Amy80, I'm a pig.......

yeah she *is* black. and maybe she dresses that way because she wants to, not because she wants to impress men or "get customers" or whatever you're trying to say. i hope she gets a big pile of money from harvard. and dude, you are a pig. we don't have to wait for amy80 to say it. grr.

as a some-what frumpy library goon, i must say that the librarian in question, desiree, is not that special. i think harvard's uptight, or perhaps she's being overly sensitive. i know librarians at uc berkeley who dress sluttier than that. the public librarians tend to be pretty doudy and dully.

zaphod- might be a pig, but it's true. i know the dirt old leches who come into my library love to drool over our hot yound student workers with low cut tops. i always get the weird creepy guys who want to talk.

Kendra, I'm with you: given the choice, I'll always opt for silent drooling rather than uncomfortable conversation.

I'm confused...Did I call someone a pig? I don't remember doing it. Anyway, I wouldn't call you a pig for that. I didn't even have the urge to comment until I saw my name.

So, sorry if I called you a pig.

She was turned down for 16 jobs since 1999. I think I woulda just said "smell ya later" and got a job somewhere else. Harvard Shmarvard.

I'm sure they could find a place for her at Colorado State! HA HA HA HA HA HA.... Okay, maybe that was uncalled for. Nah, it was. HA HA HA HA

Sorry Amy,
I forgot, it's r a e d y that thinks I'm a pig all the time. Mistaken identity. Sorry again.

Don't worry about it.
